  7.     Fifteen months of creative labor have finally paid off for
  8. Marilyn Quayle and her elder sister Nancy Northcott. Last week
  9. the Crown Publishing Group bought their novel, The Rage of the
  10. Lamb, which the siblings wrote via long-distance collaboration.
  11. Quayle and Northcott, who lives in Tennessee, exchanged their
  12. work through the mail on computer disks, each one editing the
  13. other's writing. The plot: Cuba's Fidel Castro dies, and the
  14. U.S. and the Soviet Union seek to take advantage of the
  15. situation. But a U.S. Senator, the book's hero, discovers
  16. deception in both governments.
